Strawberry Sorbet

IMG_3706.jpeg

As busy as we all are, I think we should still prioritize enjoying the =little things in life like eating sorbet on the patio after a long day. This healthy Strawberry Sorbet is incredibly easy to make and the hint of basil takes it to another level, making it seem more sophisticated than it actually is. Iā€™d love to know if you try it and what you think of it! Leave a comment below :)

Strawberry Basil Sorbet

Ingredients:

4 cups frozen strawberries (if using fresh, simply throw in the freezer for an hour or so)

3-5 Tbsp Honey

3 sprigs fresh basil

Splash of water (optional)

Directions:

Let frozen strawberries thaw slightly and then add both strawberries, honey, and basil to a blender or handheld immersion blender. Blend until smooth. Add a splash of water to obtain desired consistency. Pour berry mixture into a freezer proof container (such as a bread pan) and freeze for 2-3 hours and then set out to thaw for about 20 minutes prior to serving. Top with a sprig of basil and enjoy!
